Abstract
La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de analizar la influencia del
abandono familiar en los estilos de vida de los adultos mayores del distrito de
Cachicadán, Santiago de Chuco, 2021. La muestra estuvo conformada por un total
de 40 adultos mayores en la cual se aplicaron métodos como el inductivo-deductivo;
analítico sintético y estadístico; así mismo, la utilización de técnicas como la
entrevista y encuesta con sus respectivos instrumentos como la guía de entrevista
y cuestionario de encuesta. Los datos cualitativos y cuantitativos fueron recogidos
en el mismo distrito permitiendo un análisis exhaustivo de las variables identificadas
como el abandono familiar y estilos de vida.
De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos, se afirma que el abandono familiar influye
de manera significativa en los estilos de vida de los adultos mayores, pues se
identifica que la mayoría de las variables analizadas se encuentran por encima de
la media, es decir se ha identificado, respecto a los estilos de vida, que un 75% de
los adultos mayores presentan deterioro en su salud, un 61% de ellos tienen
carencias económicas, un 42% presentan deficientes hábitos alimenticios.
Respecto al abandono familiar, se evidencia que un 80% tiene un débil
acompañamiento familiar mientras que un 77% tienen una deficiente comunicación
con sus hijos.
Description
The present investigation was carried out with the objective of analyzing the
influence of family abandonment on the lifestyles of older adults in the district of
Cachicadán, Santiago de Chuco, 2021. The sample consisted of a total of 40 older
adults in which apply methods such as inductive-deductive; analytical and synthetic
statistics; Likewise, the use of techniques such as the interview and survey with their
respective instruments such as the interview guide and survey questionnaire.
Qualitative and quantitative data were collected in the same district allowing an
exhaustive analysis of the variables identified as family abandonment and lifestyles.
According to the results obtained, it is affirmed that family abandonment significantly
influences the lifestyles of the elderly, since it is identified that most of the variables
analyzed are above the means, that is, it has been identified Regarding lifestyles,
75% of older adults present deterioration in their health, 61% of them have economic
deprivations, 42% have poor eating habits. Regarding family abandonment, it is
evident that 80% have weak family support while 77% have poor communication
with their children.
