Item “influencia de la temperatura de coccion sobre la contraccion, absorcion y resistencia a la compresion en ladrillos de arcilla cocidos”(Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, 2016) Urbina Tirado, Christopher Jhon; Alvarado Quintana, Hernán MartinIn this research the influence of temperature on the bricks King Kong determining it according to the volumetric shrinkage, absorption and compressive strength was evaluated. Bricks selected from the total production of the company FORTES were 16 measures 23 cm x 12.5 cm x 9 cm formed of clay, soil and water; also adding the decrease obtained from damaged bricks in all processes. The firing temperature levels used were 700 ° C and 850 °. From the results we determined that the temperature of 850 ° C is most suitable for bricks evaluated as improving its volumetric shrinkage, absorption and compressive strength properties; for volumetric shrinkage greater variations were obtained with a value of 6.77% being within that permitted by the E-0.70 standard; for absorbing a value of 11.17% being the minimum value due to the decrease of pores and the compression strength value of 244,775 kg / cm2, noting that all measured values are within permitted by the standard it was obtained E-0.70 Finally we can say that at 850 ° C bricks King Kong unlike evaluated at 700 ° C exhibit improved properties, considering also the great flow of heat in the oven
