Abstract
El objetivo de la presente investigación consistió en determinar la relación entre estrés laboral y rotación de personal en la Empresa de Transportes Uceda S.A.C., Huanchaco – Trujillo, 2024. En ese sentido, la investigación se realizó siguiendo una metodología de tipo de investigación básica, enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental, y corte transversal; asimismo, se consideró a la encuesta y el análisis documentario como técnicas; y al cuestionario y la guía de análisis documentario como instrumentos, los mismos que fueron aplicados a una muestra poblacional de 60 conductores. Los resultados demostraron que existe una correlación positiva considerable entre las variables de estudio con un coeficiente de correlación Rho de Spearman de 0,621 y una significancia < 0,05 que confirma la relación propuesta para el investigador; asimismo, se identificó que el 60% de los conductores presentan un nivel medio de estrés laboral, y respecto a la rotación del personal, el 46.7% de los conductores experimenta un nivel alto, asimismo se calculó el índice de rotación de personal en la Empresa de Transportes Uceda S.A.C., para el año 2024, se obtuvo un resultado de -4%, revelando serias dificultades en la retención de conductores, y reflejando más desvinculaciones que contrataciones. En conclusión, los hallazgos identificados son fundamentales para comprender la dinámica laboral y orientar la formulación de estrategias a mejorar la comunicación, el trabajo en equipo y el reglamento de horarios para lograr una gestión adecuada del estrés, así como para el desarrollo de intervenciones dirigidas a optimizar la retención de los conductores y reducir el nivel de rotación de personal en la empresa.
ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between work-related stress and staff turnover in company Transports Uceda S.A.C., Huanchaco - Trujillo, 2024. In this sense, the research was carried out following a basic research methodology, quantitative approach, non-experimental design, and cross-sectional; likewise, the survey and documentary analysis were considered as techniques; and the questionnaire and the questionnaire analysis guide as instruments, which were applied to a population sample of 60 drivers. The results showed that there is a considerable positive correlation between the study variables with a Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient of 0.621 and a significance <0.05 which confirms the relationship proposed by the researcher; it was also identified that 60% of the drivers have a medium level of work-related stress, and with regard to staff turnover, 46.7% of the drivers experience a high level, and the staff turnover index was calculated in the company Transports Uceda S.A.C., In addition, the staff turnover rate was calculated for the year 2024, with a result of -4%, revealing serious difficulties in the retention of drivers, and reflecting more departures than recruitments. In conclusion, the findings identified are fundamental for understanding the work dynamics and guiding the formulation of strategies to improve communication, teamwork and timetable regulations in order to achieve adequate stress management, as well as for the development of interventions aimed at optimising driver retention and reducing the level of staff turnover in the company.
