Participación familiar en el cumplimiento del tratamiento de pacientes con tuberculosis en el Hospital de Apoyo Chepén: 2019

Abstract

La presente tesis se realizó con la finalidad de explicar la relación entre la participación familiar y el cumplimiento del tratamiento de pacientes con tuberculosis en el Hospital de Apoyo Chepén: 2019. Se ha considerado el tipo de investigación aplicada, teniendo como base un diseño explicativo, y la muestra constó de 55 pacientes, con los cuales se trabajó aplicando los métodos y técnicas de la investigación cuantitativa: Método estadístico y como técnica a la encuesta, y la investigación cualitativa: Método inductivo – deductivo; y como técnicas la observación directa y la entrevista. De los resultados se puede deducir que el aislamiento de familia y las inadecuadas relaciones intrafamiliares genera deficiente participación que afecta la adhesión al tratamiento de los pacientes. Por otro lado, la crisis emocional relacionada con el desinterés en la toma de conciencia de la enfermedad del paciente, dificulta un verdadero proceso de tratamiento para asegurar el tratamiento de esta enfermedad. Finalmente, proponemos que el trabajador social debe identificar las necesidades emocionales de los pacientes, ayudándolos a superar la crisis, dándoles apoyo emocional, discutir preocupaciones, y obtener ayuda con sus sentimientos de culpabilidad y con temas como decisiones de atención médica con la participación familiar. The present thesis was carried out in order to explain the relationship between family participation and compliance with the treatment of patients with tuberculosis at the Hospital de Apoyo Chepén: 2019. The type of applied research was considered, based on an explanatory design, and the sample consisted of 55 patients, with whom we worked applying the methods and techniques of quantitative research: Statistical method and as a technique to the survey, and the qualitative research: inductive - deductive method; and as techniques direct observation and interview. From the results it can be deduced that family isolation and inadequate intra-family relationships generate poor participation that affects adherence to treatment of patients. On the other hand, the emotional crisis related to the disinterest in the awareness of the patient's disease, hinders a true treatment process to ensure the treatment of this disease. Finally, we propose that the social worker should identify the emotional needs of patients, helping them to overcome the crisis, giving them emotional support, discussing concerns, and obtaining help with their feelings of guilt and with issues such as healthcare decisions with family participation.
