Sistema de información web para la agilización del proceso de gestión de sílabos de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo

Abstract

El presente trabajo describe la realización del Sistema de Información Web para la Agilización del Proceso de Gestión de Sílabos, el cual abarca los módulos de registro y reportes. En la actualidad los procesos de gestión de sílabos son trabajados; por un lado de manera desintegrada con respecto a los demás módulos con los que se comunica, generando así retrasos y perdida de información, y por otro lado de manera no muy eficiente, generando así molestias por los tiempos de respuesta y caídas del mismo. Para dar solución al problema se ha desarrollado el presente proyecto, que hace uso de tecnologías de información actuales para sistematizar y mejorar los procesos de la gestión de sílabos, reduciendo así los tiempos de registro, búsqueda y acceso a la información. El presente proyecto ha sido trabajado bajo la estructura de la metodología RUP, la cual nos ha permitido generar un proyecto ordenado y de calidad. Para el modelado de diagramas se ha hecho uso de UML, y en cuanto a la implementación del sistema se usó el gestor de base de datos PosgreSql, lenguaje Visual Basic .NET y arquitectura MVC (Modelo Vista Controlador). Finalmente como resultado de esta investigación concluimos en que mediante la implementación del sistema propuesto se logra reducir en un 51% el tiempo empleado en la revisión de sílabos académicos. Del mismo modo, se logra disminuir en un 73% el tiempo de búsqueda y acceso de datos (en forma de consultas y/o reportes) por parte de los diferentes departamentos de escuela, aumentando también de dicha forma su satisfacción al momento de realizar sus labores. Este ahorro de tiempo y esfuerzo permite a su vez un control más real y exacto de la información manejada.

This paper describes the realization of the Information Website System for the Speeding up of the Process of Management of Syllabi, which covers registration and reporting modules. In the present syllabus management processes are worked; hand way disintegrated with respect to other modules with which communicates, thus generating delays and loss of information, and on the other hand not very efficiently, thus generating discomfort by the response times and it falls. To give solution to the problem has been developed this project, making use of modern information technology to systematize and improve the management of syllabi, thus reducing time of registration, search and access to information. The present project has been worked under the structure of the RUP methodology, which has enabled us to build an orderly project and quality. For the modeling of diagrams, UML use has become, and in terms of the implementation of the system was used PosgreSql, Visual Basic .NET language database manager and MVC (model view controller) architecture. Finally as result of this research conclude that through the implementation of the proposed system is achieved a 51% reduction in the time spent in the academic syllabus revision. In the same way, achieved a 73% decrease time of search and access of data (in the form of queries and/or reports) by the different departments of the school, increasing also in such manner your satisfaction at the time of their tasks. This saving of time and effort allows to your time a control over real and exact of the information managed.
