Consumo de Clonazepam en un establecimiento farmacéutico del distrito de Trujillo Enero – Diciembre 2020

Abstract

El presente estudio retrospectivo - descriptivo se realizó con la finalidad de determinar el comportamiento del consumo de clonazepam 0.5mg y 2mg en una botica del distrito de Trujillo, durante el periodo de Enero – Diciembre 2020. Para esta investigación se consideró datos de las unidades dispensadas de clonazepam y su equivalente comercial (Neuryl®) y el número de clientes atendidas con este medicamento, estos datos fueron obtenidos de la base de datos de la botica y corroborados con el libro de medicamentos Psicotrópicos durante el periodo de enero-diciembre del 2020; se determinó la demanda mensual y anual del clonazepam en dicho periodo resultando un mayor consumo anual para clonazepam 0.5 mg con 514 unidades vendidas, destacando el mes de noviembre con 193 unidades a diferencia del su equivalente farmacéutico, que no presentó ninguna venta en todo el año. Con respecto al clonazepam de 2 mg, tuvo un mayor consumo a diferencia de su equivalente comercial con 77 unidades vendidas resaltando el mes de agosto con 52 unidades dispensadas. Así mismo se hizo una comparativa entre el consumo de clonazepam genérico y comercial, mostrándose el clonazepam genérico como el medicamento más preferido por la población del distrito de Trujillo. También se midió el consumo mensual y anual de medicamentos utilizando el método dosis diaria definida/1000habitantes/día, donde se obtuvo un mayor consumo anual clonazepam 0.5mg y Neuryl® 2mg con un número de DDD/1000 habitantes/día de 3,38 y 7,92 respectivamente

Likewise, a comparison was made between the consumption of generic and commercial clonazepam, showing generic clonazepam as the most preferred drug by the population of the Trujillo district.
