Comparación de venta anual de Clonazepam en un establecimiento farmacéutico en el centro histórico del distrito de Trujillo entre 2020 y 2021

Abstract

El presente informe retrospectivo – descriptivo se llevó a cabo con el objetivo de precisar la conducta de la dispensación de Clonazepam de 0.5 mg y 2 mg en una botica ubicada en el centro histórico del distrito de Trujillo durante el periodo 2020 y 2021. Por tal motivo se tomaron datos de las unidades vendidas de Clonazepam y Neuryl, su equivalente comercial; así como los pacientes a los que se les proporciono este medicamento, datos que se extrajeron del sistema de ventas de la botica y para asegurar su objetividad se contó de manera física con el libro de Psicotropicos del establecimiento, centrándonos exclusivamente en el lapso de enero-diciembre del 2021; se estableció como resultado que la mayor demanda mensual y anual en dicho periodo fue para Clonazepam de 0.5 mg con 1172 unidades dispensadas, donde resalta el mes de Junio con 243 tabletas dispensadas, en contraparte su equivalente comercial Neuryl 0.5 mg solo registro 85 unidades vendidas, resaltando el mes de agosto con 35 unidades vendidas. En lo que concierne a Clonazepam de 2 mg también se refleja una mayor venta con 422 unidades, destacando las 142 unidades vendidas en el mes de abril mientras que su equivalente comercial Neuryl 2 mg fueron dispensadas 122 unidades, teniendo su mayor venta en mayo con 57 unidades. También se analizó las ventas de Clonazepam genérico entre su comercial, quedando demostrado que en la actualidad con la realidad que vivimos, la gente tiende a consumir y preferir los medicamentos genéricos en el centro histórico del distrito de Trujillo. Además, se calculó el consumo mensual y anual del medicamento utilizando el método dosis diaria definida/1000habitantes/día, hallándose un mayor consumo anual de clonazepam 0.5mg y clonazepam® 2mg con un número de DDD/1000 habitantes/día de 4,26 y 4,00 respectivamente. Finalmente comparamos las ventas de estos medicamentos entre el 2020 y 2021, obteniendo que el número de unidades vendidas en el 2021 por cada medicamento fue mucho mayor que las vendidas en el 2020

This retrospective - descriptive report was carried out with the objective of specifying the conduct of the dispensing of Clonazepam 0.5 mg and 2 mg in a pharmacy located in the historic center of the Trujillo district during the January - December 2021 season. For this reason, data was taken from the units sold of Clonazepam and Neuryl, its commercial equivalent; as well as the patients to whom this medication was provided, data that was extracted from the pharmacy's sales system and to ensure its objectivity, the establishment's Psychotropic book was physically counted, focusing exclusively on the period of January- December 2021; It was established as a result that the highest monthly and annual demand in said period was for Clonazepam 0.5 mg with 1172 units dispensed, where the month of June stands out with 243 tablets dispensed, in contrast to its commercial equivalent Neuryl 0.5 mg only registered 85 units sold, highlighting the month of August with 35 units sold. Regarding Clonazepam 2 mg, a higher sale is also reflected with 422 units, highlighting the 142 units sold in April while its commercial equivalent Neuryl 2 mg 122 units were dispensed, having its highest sale in May with 57 units. The sales of generic Clonazepam among its commercial were also analyzed, demonstrating that today, with the reality we live in, people tend to consume and prefer generic drugs in the historic center of the district of Trujillo. In addition, the monthly and annual consumption of the drug was calculated using the defined daily dose/1000 inhabitants/day method, finding a higher annual consumption of clonazepam 0.5mg and clonazepam® 2mg with a number of DDD/1000 inhabitants/day of 4.26 and 4.00 respectively. Finally, we compared the sales of these drugs between 2020 and 2021, obtaining that the number of units sold in 2021 for each drug was much higher than those sold in 2020
