Percepciones del adulto mayor ante la pandemia COVID-19.

Abstract

La presente investigación de tipo cualitativa de enfoque fenomenológico tiene como finalidad develar las percepciones del adulto mayor ante la pandemia del COVID-19 en la provincia de Chepén. La población estuvo conformado por 12 adultos mayores que se encontraban dentro de los criterios de inclusión. La recolección de datos se obtuvo a través de la entrevista a profundidad, respetando los principios éticos y el rigor científico que protegen los derechos de cada participante. Se realizó la transcripción de cada entrevista, luego se analizó y determinó 3 categorías: Aislamiento social, Temor al contagio y Oportunidad de protección: Las vacunas, ello permitió develar las percepciones de los adultos mayores ante la pandemia COVID-19

The purpose of this qualitative research with a phenomenological approach is to reveal the perceptions of the elderly in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic in the province of Chepén. The population consisted of 12 older adults who were within the inclusion criteria. The data collection was obtained through an in-depth open interview, respecting the ethical principles and scientific rigor that protect the rights of each participant. The transcript of each interview was made, then 3 categories were analyzed and determined: Social isolation, Fear of contagion and Opportunity for protection: Vaccines, this allowed revealing the perceptions of older adults in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic
