Programa educativo sobre conocimientos de la enfermera en el cuidado del paciente con ventilación mecánica

Abstract

La presente investigación de tipo cuantitativo, de diseño preexperimental con pre y post test se realizó con el propósito de determinar el efecto del programa educativo “Conociendo” en el cuidado del paciente con ventilación mecánica, en una población muestral de 50 enfermeras que laboran en el servicio de emergencia del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, a quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos, primero el cuestionario sobre cuidado enfermero al paciente con ventilación mecánica y luego el Programa educativo “Conociendo” antes y después, para medir el efecto se utilizó la prueba estadística de t de Students. llegando a los siguientes resultados: El nivel de conocimiento de las enfermeras antes y después de aplicar el programa educativo “Conociendo” el 50.0% presentaron nivel de conocimiento malo, 44.0% regular y solo el 6.0% bueno, después de aplicar el programa educativo las enfermeras lograron porcentajes significativos como el 56.0% lograron un nivel de conocimiento bueno, el 44.0% regular y 0.0% de conocimiento malo. El programa educativo “Conociendo” fue efectivo t students de +-2, 65.
