This research has as main objective to know the influence of social responsibility in positioning in “Caja Trujillo” bank. As currently these activities have been great strategies to improve the relationship between the institution, the community and their clients. This research would let the institution analyze the effects that the activities related to the social responsibility are having in everyday work. This report has been developed with a contrasting design, the descriptive methods that were used during this research are: inductive and statistical method, and as a research technique surveys were applied to clients and to the community. The surveys that were applied to the clients of “Caja Trujillo” in Trujillo's district reported that customers believe that “Caja Trujillo” is a socially responsible institution, although the 56 % of the clients have no knowledge of the social work that the institution offers. In the other hand, the surveys that were applied to the community reported that they do know about the social work that the institution offers but they also consider that the institution doesn’t help in the development of the community. All in all, we can say that social responsibility has a positive influence on the positioning of “Caja Trujillo”, this is why the institution should continue working on these social responsibility activities.
