Abstract
La presente investigación tiene como propósito analizar el desempeño docente de los profesores ordinarios de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo en un contexto de la pandemia Covid-19 en el año 2020 con el fin de identificar fortalezas y debilidades en el desempeño docente y permita diseñar políticas que contribuyan en el proceso de toma de decisiones de reformas educativas orientadas a mejorar el desempeño docente y por ende mejorar la calidad educativa. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se utilizó datos de la encuesta de la unidad académica de personal docente, aplicada a los estudiantes de la universidad, la información obtenida se procedió a tabular y procesar con el software Microsoft Excel, luego se elaboró las tablas y figuras y aplicación de la estadística descriptiva. Los resultados muestran que los docentes adaptan sus estrategias de enseñanza aprendizaje en función al marco normativo decretado por el Estado; y las disposiciones normativas académicas de la universidad en el desarrollo de la enseñanza virtual, llegando a la conclusión que, del total de profesores ordinarios, al menos el 85% logran alcanzar un nivel de desempeño excelente.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the teaching performance of ordinary professors at the National University of Trujillo in a context of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 in order to identify strengths and weaknesses in teaching performance and allow the design of policies that contribute to the decision-making process of educational reforms aimed at improving teacher performance and therefore improving educational quality. The results show that teachers adapt their teaching-learning strategies based on the regulatory framework decreed by the State; and the academic normative dispositions of the university in the development of virtual teaching, reaching the conclusion that, of the total of ordinary professors, at least 85% manage to reach an excellent level of performance.
