dc.descriptionThis research was used to determine the average time delay of the patient in Pediatrics, General Medicine and Rheumatology clinics, of the Vilca Walter Cruz Hospital - Alto Moche. This was observed for 20 days the behavior of arrivals and service times of patients attending the clinics of pediatrics, general medicine and rheumatology at the same hospital. The methodology used was the waiting line Model with a single server, which is applied independently to each doctor's office, it was found that patient arrivals to each of the clinics follow a Poisson distribution, so it is verified that the service times follow an exponential distribution. In pediatric room, it was determined that the average time in queue was about 11 minutes and the time within the system, about 20 minutes, the average number of patients in the waiting line was less than 1 and the system approximately 1.9 patients. In general practice, it was determined that the average time in the waiting line was approximately 7 minutes and the time within the system of about 18 minutes, the average number of patients in the waiting line was 0.29 and 0.70 in the system aboutpatients. In the rheumatology clinic, it was determined that the average time in the waiting line was approximately 7.5 minutes and the time within the system about 18 minutes, the average number of patients in the waiting line was 0.30 and the system approximately 0.73 patientses_PE
dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación sirvió para determinar el tiempo promedio que el paciente demora en los consultorios de Pediatría, Medicina General y Reumatología, del Hospital Walter Cruz Vilca – Alto Moche. Para ello se observó durante 20 días el comportamiento de las llegadas y tiempos de servicio de pacientes que acudieron a los consultorios de Pediatría, Medicina general y Reumatología del citado hospital. La metodología empleada fue el Modelo de línea de espera con un solo servidor, la cual se aplicó en forma independiente a cada consultorio médico; se comprobó que las llegadas de los pacientes a cada uno de los consultorios siguen una distribución de Poisson, así mismo se verificó que los tiempos de servicio siguen una distribución exponencial._x000D_ En el consultorio de Pediatría, se determinó que el tiempo promedio en la línea de espera fue de aproximadamente de 11 minutos y el tiempo transcurrido dentro del sistema es de aproximadamente 20 minutos, el número promedio de pacientes formados en la línea de espera fue menos de 1 y en el sistema aproximadamente 1.09 pacientes._x000D_ En el consultorio de Medicina general, se determinó que el tiempo promedio en la línea de espera fue de aproximadamente de 7 minutos y el tiempo transcurrido dentro del sistema es de aproximadamente 18 minutos, el número promedio de pacientes formados en la línea de espera fue de 0.29 y en el sistema aproximadamente 0.70 pacientes._x000D_ En el consultorio de Reumatología, se determinó que el tiempo promedio en la línea de espera fue de aproximadamente de 7.5 minutos y el tiempo transcurrido dentro del sistema de aproximadamente 18 minutos, el número promedio de pacientes formados en la línea de espera fue de 0.30 y en el sistema aproximadamente 0.73 pacienteses_PE
