Abstract
La presente investigación, de tipo Descriptiva Correlacional se realizó en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, durante el mes de octubre del 2019, con el propósito de determinar la relación que existe entre el nivel de información brindado por el personal de enfermería y el grado de ansiedad de los familiares de pacientes de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. La muestra estuvo constituida por 30 familiares que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron los instrumentos “Cuestionario para medir nivel de información” y “Cuestionario para valorar grado de ansiedad”, la información obtenida fue procesada y analizada mediante la prueba 𝑥2. Los resultados son presentados en tablas de simple y doble entrada. Después de análisis se llegó a la siguiente conclusión: el 57.1 por ciento de familiares de pacientes de la unidad de cuidados intensivos tienen un nivel de información bajo y un grado de ansiedad moderada, y el 66.7 por ciento de familiares de pacientes de la unidad de cuidados intensivos tienen un nivel de información alto y un grado de ansiedad leve. Se encontró significancia estadística entre las variables nivel de información y grado de ansiedad.
The present investigation, of the Correlational Descriptive type, was carried out at the Regional Hospital of Trujillo, during the month of october 2019, with the purpose of determining the relationship between the level of information provided by the nursing staff and the degree of Anxiety of family members of patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The sample consisted of 30 family members who met the inclusión criteria. For the data collection, the instruments “Questionnaire to measure level of information” and “Questionnaire to assess degree of anxiety” were used, the information obtained was processed and analyzed using the 𝑥2 test. The results are presented in single and double entry tables. After analysis, the following conclusión was reached: 57.1 porcent of relatives of patients in the intensive care unit have a low level of information and a moderate degree of anxiety and 66.7 porcent of relatives of patients in the intensive care unit have a hight level of information and a mild degree of anxiety. Statistical significance was found between the variables level of information and degree of anxiety
