Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of the Steel Framing dry construction system and its use in the design of single-family homes in the city of Trujillo. The methodology employed a quantitative approach, as statistical measurements were conducted for representation in graphs and tables. The design was descriptive, involving the description of compiled information through analysis. The study was non-experimental as there was no manipulation of variables. In terms of scope, it was correlational, aiming to identify the relationship between the study variables and the relationship between dimensions. The sample consisted of 30 construction professionals, including architects and engineers, who responded to a questionnaire proposed for each variable. The questionnaire achieved a Cronbach's Alpha of α = 0.73, validated by subject matter experts. The results indicated a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of the Steel Framing dry construction system and its use in the design of single-family homes in Trujillo, with a 95% confidence level. Additionally, it was found that over 80% of the surveyed professionals exhibited a high to intermediate level of knowledge. However, approximately 15% of professionals demonstrated a low level of knowledge. Based on this, it was concluded that professionals in Trujillo have the capability to successfully develop homes using this system.
