Abstract
PHANTOM 4 RTX.
This thesis work was carried out on the main campus of the National University of Trujillo, in the district of Trujillo, with the main objective of carrying out the comparative analysis of topographic surveys using DJI PHANTOM 4 RTX drone and TRIMBLE C5 5” Total Station. This thesis is non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional in design, in which data collection was done with the observation technique, where observation guides were used. For the comparative analysis, 4 geodetic points were acquired, certifying the first in the National Geographic Institute, which served as the basis for the precision variable. Using the drone, a time of 2 hours was used to recognize the study area, 1 hour for the flight programming, 1 hour for the flight itself and 24 hours for processing the information in the office, where a consolidated of 34 hours. For the topic of the total station, the field work took 56 hours and the data development took us 44 hours, making a total of 112 hours. A total cost of 5,025.00 soles was budgeted, which was used for the work with the total station, while the survey with the drone amounted to 2,275.00 soles. In the drone work we were given a comparatively higher error of 0.129% in relation to the total station which had an error of 0.044%. In the case of this work, the use of the TRIMBLE C5 5” Total Station is recommended since, although the cost and time is greater, the precision is greater unlike the DJI PHANTOM 4 RTX drone.
