Abstract
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo determinar los niveles de hemoglobina (Hb) y hematocrito (Hto) en relación con la edad, sexo e índice de masa corporal, en personas mayores de 15 años del mercado Ex Mayorista – Pasaje Albarracín, de la ciudad de Trujillo, marzo 2018. Siendo la muestra un total de 56 personas, de los cuales fueron 26 hombres y 30 mujeres. Se realizaron las medidas antropométricas de talla (m) y peso (kg) para determinar el IMC, y el método utilizado fue de cianometahemoglobina y microhematocrito.
Respecto a los resultados obtenidos los valores promedios fueron hemoglobina 16.87%; hematocrito 44%; IMC 32.85% y edad 40.50%.
En los niveles de hemoglobina el 8.9% de los asistentes presentó valores elevados, el 60.7% valores normales y el 30.4% valores bajos, y en los niveles de hematocrito el 7.2% valores elevados, el 85.7% valores normales y el 7.2% valores bajos.
Con los resultados obtenidos se concluye que no existe relación entre los niveles de hemoglobina y hematocrito con respecto a edad, sexo e IMC

The objective of this work was to determine the levels of hemoglobin (Hb) and hematocrit (HCT) in relation to age, sex and body mass index, in people older than 15 years of the Ex Mayorista - Pasaje Albarracín market, in the city of Trujillo, march 2018. The sample is a total of 56 people, of which 26 were men and 30 were women. Anthropometric measurements of height (m) and weight (kg) were made to determine the BMI, and the method used was cyanometahemoglobin and microhematocrit. Regarding the results obtained, the average values were hemoglobin 16.87%; hematocrit 44%; BMI 32.85% and
age 40.50%.
