Abstract
La presente investigación descriptiva y correlacional, con el objetivo de determinar la relación entre el nivel de información y el grado de ansiedad del paciente pre quirúrgico del Hospital de Alta Complejidad Virgen de la Puerta - Trujillo, 2022. La muestra estuvo conformada por 112 pacientes prequirúrgicos cumpliendo con los criterios establecidos y a quienes se les aplicó dos instrumentos, el primer instrumento “Encuesta para nivel de información del paciente prequirúrgico” y el segundo instrumento “Encuesta para el grado de ansiedad en el paciente prequirúrgico”, los datos obtenidos fueron evaluados y procesados empleando el Statisctics 25 paquete estadístico IBM mediante la prueba estadística Tau b de Kendall. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que existe relación estadísticamente significativa entre la variable nivel de información y el grado de ansiedad. El 95% de pacientes prequirúrgicos con nivel de información alto tuvieron grado de ansiedad leve, el 36,4% grado de ansiedad moderado y el 10% grado de ansiedad severo. Mientras que el 90% de pacientes prequirúrgicos con nivel de información bajo tuvieron grado de ansiedad severa, el 63.6% grado de ansiedad moderado y el 5% grado de ansiedad leve.
