Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, de corte transversal, se llevó a cabo en Hospital Huamachuco, durante el 2019, con la finalidad de determinar el conocimiento y actitud sobre bioseguridad de las enfermeras.
La muestra estuvo constituida por 30 enfermeras, que laboran en los servicios de emergencia, hospitalización y ginecoobstetricia de Hospital Huamachuco. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó dos instrumentos: un cuestionario sobre conocimiento y otro de actitud sobre bioseguridad que fue validado por Prueba Piloto y juicio de expertos. La información obtenida fue ingresada y procesada en cuadros y gráficos, se usó la Prueba de Independencia de criterios, chi cuadrado para probar si existe relación entre ambas variables; de acuerdo con los resultados se obtuvo como conclusión que el 40.0% de las enfermeras tienen conocimiento sobre Bioseguridad bueno, el 66.7% de las enfermeras manifestaron una actitud sobre Bioseguridad favorable y que el conocimiento sobre Bioseguridad se relaciona moderadamente con la actitud sobre Bioseguridad en las enfermeras Hospital de Huamachuco (p = 0.004 < 0.05)
The present research work is quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, it was carried out at Hospital Huamachuco, during 2019, with the purpose of determining the knowledge and attitude about biosafety of nurses. The sample consisted of 30 nurses, who work in the emergency, hospitalization and obstetrics and gynecology services of Huamachuco Hospital. Two instruments were used to collect data: a questionnaire on knowledge and another on attitude about biosafety that was validated by Pilot Test and expert judgment. The information obtained was entered and processed in tables and graphs, the Criterion Independence Test, chi square, was used to test if there is a relationship between both variables; According to the results, the conclusion was obtained that 40.0% of the nurses have good knowledge about Biosafety, 66.7% of the nurses expressed a favorable attitude about Biosafety and that knowledge about Biosafety is moderately related to the attitude about Biosafety in the Huamachuco Hospital nurses (p = 0.004 < 0.05).
