Abstract
ABSTRACT The thesis called public tourism management against the fulfillment of the sustainable development objectives in the Trujillo destination, which was focused on determining how public tourism management manifests itself against the fulfillment of the SDGs, since it depends on the competent authorities of the sector to carry out the Goals that the UN has proposed in the 2030 agenda, its main purpose being the well-being of people and the planet through strategic alliances. The result of the thesis determined that within the strategic plan of the region and in the work plans of the tourist area of the respective municipalities that the destination covers, the sustainable development objectives are implicitly described in the document, and they are also related among themselves, through actions such as tourism ventures (ODS 1, 8), improve access conditions, security (ODS 10, 11) promote local consumption (ODS 12). The general conclusion is that public tourism management in the face of compliance with the SDGs is manifested indirectly, since an implicit statement of the SDGs to be fulfilled is made, for the reason that they are reached by deduction, expressing itself in the inclusion in a way indirect of the same in the management documents and the actions carried out. For the execution of the report, the synthetic analytical and ethnographic methods were applied, and in reference to the techniques that were used in the field stage it was the interview, survey and direct observation.
