Abstract
El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional tiene como finalidad rescatar las vivencias y realizar un análisis del modo en que los habitantes homosexuales del centro poblado de Roma construyen su género a través de los múltiples procesos de convivencias con sus pares y las distintas instituciones que forman parte del desarrollo social del mismo. El informe parte desde una perspectiva teórica recopilatorio sobre la cuestión de los estudios sobre la homosexualidad, al igual que en la construcción de género y las representaciones sociales, así se toman fuentes tanto nacionales como internacionales sobre definiciones, legislaciones, dificultades y problemáticas actuales que afrontan los estudios y los investigadores, al igual que los investigados. En una posterior etapa se comenzó con la revisión documental acerca de la ciudad de Roma, sus aspectos geográficos, su historia, los aspectos poblacionales, de vivienda, salud, educación y seguridad. Todo esto con la finalidad de caracterizar el contexto físico en el que el fenómeno a investigar se desarrolla. En la etapa del trabajo de campo se logró identificar a las historias de vida de cada uno de los entrevistados para poder caracterizar y comparar sus vivencias para poder encontrar patrones en cuanto a representaciones sociales y construcción de género se trata.
ABSTRACT The purpose of this professional sufficiency work is to rescue the experiences and analyze how homosexual inhabitants of the population center of Rome construct their gender through the multiple coexistence processes with their peers and the different institutions that are part of its social development. The report starts from a theoretical perspective, compiling studies on homosexuality, as well as gender construction and social representations. Both national and international sources are taken into account on definitions, legislation, current difficulties, and problems faced by researchers and those being researched. In a later stage, a documentary review was carried out on the city of Rome, its geographical aspects, history, population, housing, health, education, and security. All of this is aimed at characterizing the physical context in which the phenomenon under investigation develops. During the fieldwork stage, the life stories of each interviewee were identified to characterize and compare their experiences in order to find patterns in terms of social representations and gender construction.
