Pretratamiento con oxígeno, aire y tiempo de lixiviación para la extracción de oro por cianuración de un mineral sulfurado arsenical

Abstract
Se investigaron los efectos del pretratamiento de oxidación del mineral aurífero sulfurado
arsenical utilizando aire y oxígeno por separado, además de evaluar el tiempo de lixiviación
después del pretratamiento, mediante cianuración por agitación en botella. La composición
química es 36.60 g/t Au, 46.18 g/t Ag, 1.85 % As, 0.16 % Cu, 25.15 % Fe, 26.63 % S y 59.60 %
SiO2.
Para las pruebas, se aplicó el diseño bifactorial con las siguientes variables, la variable
pretratamiento, que se evaluó en tres niveles: sin pretratamiento, con aire y con oxígeno, la variable
tiempo de lixiviación, en los niveles: 6, 12, 24, 48 y 72 horas, y teniendo como variable
dependiente la extracción de oro y plata como porcentaje.
Los pretratamientos se realizaron con una compresora de aire regulado a 10 psi, y se utilizó
un balón de oxígeno de 10 m3 regulado a 5 psi. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que con el
pretratamiento se obtuvo a 72 horas con oxígeno 88.71% y 52.97%, con aire 86.69% y 47.64% y
sin pretratamiento 80.38% y 42.89% de extracción de oro y plata respectivamente.
Según lo obtenido en los resultados y en base al análisis de varianza con nivel de
significancia de 95% se concluye que los pretratamiento de aire y oxigeno así, como el tiempo de
lixiviación influyen significativamente en la extracción de oro y plata del mineral sulfurado
procedente de Pataz La Libertad.
The effects of oxidation pretreatment of arsenical sulfide gold ore using separate air and oxygen were investigated and the leaching time after pretreatment was evaluated using agitation cyanidation in a bottle. The chemical composition is 36.60 g/t Au, 46.18 g/t Ag, 1.85 % As, 0.16 % Cu, 25.15 % Fe, 26.63 % S and 59.60 % SiO2.
