Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre la publicidad televisiva y el consumo de alimentos no saludables en alumnos de una Institución Educativa en el Porvenir, 2023. El estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño descriptivo correlacional simple. La muestra la constituyeron 139 alumnos del colegio Lord Kevin, de los grados 4to, 5to y 6to del nivel primario. Se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta considerando como instrumento un cuestionario estructurado tanto para medir la variable publicidad televisiva y, la variable consumo de alimentos no saludables, los cuales contaron con un índice de confiabilidad aceptado y la correspondiente validación de expertos. La investigación concluye que existe una relación significativa entre la publicidad televisiva y el consumo de alimentos no saludables en alumnos de una Institución Educativa en El Porvenir, 2023, al haberse obtenido un valor altamente significativo (menor o igual a 0.01) con Rho de Spearman (0.936) con un nivel alto de correlación (0.000).
This research paper aims to determine the relationship between television advertising and the consumption of unhealthy foods in students of an Educational Institution in "El porvenir" in 2023. The study has a quantitative approach, with a simple correlative descriptive design. The sample was made up of 139 Elementary students from Lord Kevin School, of 4th, 5th and 6th grade. The survey technique was applied considering as an instrument a structured questionnaire to measure both the variable television advertising and the variable consumption of unhealthy foods, which had an accepted reliability index and the corresponding validation of experts. The research concludes that there is a significant relationship between television advertising and the consumption of unhealthy foods in students of an educational institution in El Porvenir, 2023, having obtained a highly significant value (less than or equal to 0.01) with Spearman’s Rho (0.936) with a high correlation level (0.000).
