Abstract
The present investigation was carried out in the district of Julcán, whose objective is to determine the influence of the additives Proes and Perma Zyme on the mechanical properties of the subgrade of the Julcán to San Pedro La Libertad 2023 section, this through a quantitative approach in order to applied research, using an experimental design with an explanatory level of study. For the realization, the non-probabilistic method was used by judgment, having as population the subgrade of the Julcán to San Pedro section (progressive 0+00 km to 5+500 km) and as a sample the soil of the pits made between said progressives, using observation direct and documentary review as data collection techniques and observation guides, information collection matrix and documentary review sheets as instruments, analyzing data using inferential statistics. Due to the deformations found in the area, it was studied obtaining clay soils of medium plasticity (CL) and clay gravel (GC) with insufficient CBR of 5.12 %, which was improved with Proes and Perma Zyme additives having optimal dosages of 0.25 L/m3 + 40 kg/m3 of cement and 0.055 L/m3 respectively, obtaining maximum dry density of 1.719 g/cm3 and 1.661g/cm3, optimal moisture content of 17.66 % and 20.57 % and CBR at 95 % of 80.27 % and 13.57 % respectively, presenting the Perma Zyme with the best result in cost and time; Thus concluding that adding Proes and Perma Zyme additives to the subgrade samples from the Julcán to San Pedro section has a significant influence on the mechanical properties.
