Abstract
El presente informe de prácticas preprofesionales tiene como objetivo evaluar el uso de la Inmunoglobulina Humana 5% solución inyectable en pacientes hospitalizados de un Hospital de ESSALUD de Lima. El estudio es descriptivo transversal de indicación-prescripción de septiembre hasta diciembre del 2019. El muestreo fue no probabilístico a criterio del investigador, se incluyeron a todos los pacientes hospitalizados. En total fueron 45 pacientes que se trataron con inmunoglobulina humana 5% solución Inyectable; el 51% fueron hombres y el 49% fueron mujeres. El 31,1% de los casos correspondieron a indicaciones correctas según la Dirección General de Farmacia y Productos Sanitarios (DGFPS) y el 60,0% a indicaciones no aprobadas por DGFPS, pero avaladas por la bibliografía científica y el 8.9% de indicaciones no autorizadas por DGFPS y de uso cuestionable. En conclusión, en el seguimiento clínico de los pacientes con Inmunoglobulina humana 5% solución inyectable, se evidenció un 8,9% del total de casos estudiados que tenían indicaciones no autorizadas por DGFPS de España
ABSTRACT The objective of this pre-professional practice report is to evaluate the use of Human Immunoglobulin 5% injectable solution in hospitalized patients of an ESSALUD Hospital in Lima. The study is a descriptive cross-sectional indication-prescription from September to December 2019. The sampling was non-probabilistic at the discretion of the investigator, all hospitalized patients were included. A total of 45 patients were treated with human immunoglobulin 5% solution for injection; 51% were men and 49% were women. 31.1% of the cases corresponded to correct indications according to the General Directorate of Pharmacy and Health Products (DGFPS) and 60.0% to indications not approved by DGFPS, but endorsed by the scientific literature and 8.9% of indications not Authorized by DGFPS and of questionable use. In conclusion, the clinical follow-up of patients with human immunoglobulin 5% injectable solution revealed 8.9% of the total of cases studied that had indications not authorized by DGFPS in Spain.
