dc.descriptionThis paper will determine the regions that include the eigenvalues of a matrix_x000D_ of order n × n in the complex plane will be determined, because in practice it is_x000D_ not easy to find the eigenvalues of a matrix, unless it is a diagonal matrix, since it_x000D_ is not always possible to find the roots of the characteristic polynomial of a matrix_x000D_ of order greater than three. To locate the regions that contain the eigenvalues of a_x000D_ matrix, the Gershgorin theorem and its generalizations are used. In addition, a better_x000D_ approximation of the regions where the eigenvalues are located can be obtained using_x000D_ the Cassini ovalses_PE
dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo se determina las regiones que incluyen los valores propios de una_x000D_ matriz de orden n × n, en el plano complejo, debido a que en la pr´actica no es f´acil_x000D_ hallar los valores propios de una matriz, a menos que se trate de una matriz diagonal,_x000D_ pues no siempre se puede hallar las ra´ıces del polinomio caracter´ıstico de una matriz_x000D_ de orden mayor que tres. Para localizar las regiones que contienen los valores propios_x000D_ de una matriz se utiliza el teorema de Gershgorin y sus generalizaciones. Además se_x000D_ puede obtener una mejor aproximación de las regiones donde se localizan los valores_x000D_ propios usando los óvalos de Cassinies_PE
