Abstract
El presente estudio de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de explicar la influencia de los estilos de crianza en el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales de los estudiantes de Trabajo Social de la UNT – filial valle Jequetepeque, 2022. La muestra estuvo conformada por 96 estudiantes activos, se aplicaron los métodos etnográfico y estadístico, así como la guía de entrevista, escala de Estilos de crianza y test de habilidades sociales; con el fin de recabar información de naturaleza cuantitativa y cualitativa de los jóvenes estudiantes para obtener información veraz y necesaria sobre la problemática en investigación. Es así, que el siguiente estudio de tipo correlacional tiene como propósito explicar la relación existente entre las variables de estilos de crianza y las habilidades sociales de los estudiantes de Trabajo Social de la UNT – filial valle Jequetepeque, 2022 de la cual se concluye que existe una relación significativa pero no determinante entre los estilos de crianza y las habilidades sociales, al reflejarse un estilo positivo predominante en las prácticas de los padres hacia sus hijos para su adecuado desenvolvimiento social a través de la comunicación, toma de decisiones y asertividad con su pares, sin embargo las habilidades sociales de asertividad en la comunicación intrapersonal y autoestima se evidencia en bajos porcentajes.
ABSTRACT The present research study was carried out with the objective of explaining the influence of parenting styles on the development of social skills of Social Work students at UNT – Jequetepeque Valley branch, 2022. The sample was made up of 96 active students, ethnographic and statistical methods were applied, as well as the interview guide, Parenting Styles scale and social skills test; in order to collect quantitative and qualitative information from young students to obtain truthful and necessary information about the problem under investigation. Thus, the purpose of the following correlational study is to explain the existing relationship between the parenting style variables and the social skills of the Social Work students of the UNT – Jequetepeque Valley branch, 2022, from which it is concluded that there is a significant but not determining relationship between parenting styles and social skills, reflecting a predominant positive style in the practices of parents towards their children for their adequate social development through communication, decision making and assertiveness with their peers. However, the social skills of assertiveness in intrapersonal communication and self-esteem are evident in low percentages.
