Abstract
The purpose of this research study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing practice in the use of the closed-circuit suction probe in intensive care patients of the hospital II - 1 Moyobamba, 2021. The study was based on in the quantitative research approach, at the correlational level with a non-experimental cross-sectional research design, a population of 30 nurses was used to whom a questionnaire and observation sheet were applied, where it was obtained as results that the level of knowledge 73.3% were good about the use of the closed circuit aspiration probe and 26.7% were regular level. While in practice 86.7% were adequate and 13.3% inadequate, it was concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and nursing practice in the use of the closed-circuit suction probe in hospital intensive care patients. II – 1 of Moyobamba in the period 2021.
