Abstract
alto.
The objective of the research was to propose a local policy model that improves social capital to promote sustainable development in organized agricultural producers – Valle Santa Catalina-Trujillo- 2023. The research corresponds to the quantitative methodological approach. It is basic of a propositional type, with a non-experimental crosssectional design. The hypothetical deductive research method and the non-probabilistic and convenience sample was 40 producers. The study aimed at understanding the relationship between social capital of organized producers and sustainable development analyzes factors that have contributed to the deployment of this capital around the sustainability of their development. It is concluded that social capital increases the resilience capacity of the members of the Central Cooperative of agricultural producers Valle Santa Catalina, while facilitating the adoption of sustainable territorial practices, the conservation of natural resources and the improvement of their opportunities. and resources. Previous studies have shown that an adequate organizational climate strengthens social capital, but information on the promotion of said capital in public policies for producer organizations is scarce. The thesis provides a proposal for local policy with emphasis on strengthening social capital, in the conviction that sustainable development in the rural area requires that intraorganizational relationships and between actors and institutions be an important part of it and budgets are allocated to the promotion of efficient associations with a high organizational climate.
