Abstract
Evaluar los niveles de conocimientos sobre soporte vital básico en alumnos de tercero, cuarto, quinto y sexto año de la Facultad de Estomatología de la UNT, 2023.
El estudio fue de tipo básico, descriptivo y transversal, esta muestra fue formada por 82 alumnos de 3°, 4°, 5° y 6° año, que fueron matriculados en la Facultad de Estomatología de la UNT en el año 2023 que previamente cumplieron con los criterios de selección. Los datos fueron recolectados aplicando una encuesta presencial que estuvo conformada por 20 preguntas, el cuestionario se sometió a la valoración de juicio de expertos y confiabilidad. Se hizo una prueba piloto con 20 alumnos y se clasifico en muy alto, alto, regular, bajo y muy bajo.
Se obtuvo como resultados que el 59% es decir 48 alumnos presentaron un nivel bajo respecto al conocimiento sobre el soporte vital básico, el 30% es decir 25 alumnos presentan un nivel regular respecto al conocimiento sobre el soporte vital básico, el 6.1% es decir 5 alumnos presentaron un nivel muy bajo respecto al conocimiento sobre el soporte vital básico, el 4.9% es decir 4 alumnos presentan un nivel alto respecto al conocimiento sobre el SVB.
El nivel de conocimientos sobre SVB en alumnos de estomatología UNT en el año 2023 fue bajo en el 59% de los alumnos de la Facultad de Estomatología de la UNT.

To evaluate the levels of knowledge of basic life support in third, fourth, fifth and sixth year students of the Faculty of Stomatology of the UNT, 2023. The study was of a basic, descriptive and cross-sectional type, this sample was formed by 82 students of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th year, who were enrolled in the Faculty of Stomatology of the UNT in the year 2023 who previously fulfilled the selection criteria. The data were collected by applying a face-to-face survey that consisted of 20 questions, the questionnaire was subjected to expert judgment and reliability assessment. A pilot test was carried out with 20 students and classified as very high, high, regular, low and very low. 59%, i.e. 48 students presented a low level of knowledge of basic life support, 30%, i.e. 25 students presented a regular level of knowledge of basic life support, 6.1%, i.e. 5 students presented a very low level of knowledge of basic life support, 4.9%, i.e. 4 students presented a high level of knowledge of BLS. The level of knowledge about BLS in students of Stomatology UNT in the year 2023 was low in 59% of the students of the Faculty of Stomatology of UNT.
