Abstract
The present research called “Web information system supported by artificial intelligence to streamline inventory management at TGI Fridays Peru”, has been carried out with the main objective: to streamline inventory management, through the implementation of a web information system. The research structure is quasi-experimental and included a pretest phase followed by a posttest phase. In the execution of the development project proposed as a solution in this study, the SCRUM methodology was applied in line with the PMBOK framework, which includes the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing phase. For the development of the web information system: it was divided into frontend and backend, both aligned with Clean Architecture. The technologies used in frontend: NextJS, TailwindCSS, PWA, Microsoft Identity; On the other hand, in the backend we had: ASP .NET v6, SQL Server, OAuth2, Docker, Python, TensorFlow For the population, 54 collaborators, 36 requisitions, 1,152 information records and 5,040 warehouse input outputs were taken into account; The elements used in this study to collect information consisted of a stopwatch and a questionnaire. Finally, when applying the corresponding statistical tests, a significant impact of 35.35 points of variation was evident for the first objective, which sought to improve employee satisfaction, compared to the situation prior to the implementation of the system. Regarding the quantitative objectives, it was possible to reduce the time in generating requisitions by 628.11 seconds, reduce the time dedicated to recording inventory information by 346.15 seconds, and achieve a variation of 207.74 seconds in the last objective set, which sought reduce the time it takes for supplies to leave the warehouse. In summary, the results indicate that the development of the web system supported by artificial intelligence effectively streamlines inventory management at TGI Fridays Peru
