Abstract
El presente de trabajo de investigación tuvo como propósito principal evaluar la influencia
de la la concentración de los azúcares reductores totales del líquido de gobierno “almíbar”
en la producción de Candida utilis. var. major. Para lograr este objetivo se diseño y
construyó biorreactores batch tipo tanque agitado y aireado construido con componentes
básicos y dispositivos auxiliares, con capacidad de 1 L., con una altura de 16 cm., un
diámetro de 10 cm. y una base de igual medida al diámetro del biorreactor. Para la
preparación del inoculo se utilizó Candida utilis. var. major. código 1081, el medio de
cultivo fue preparado a partir de diluciones de líquido de gobierno “almíbar” desde 5 hasta
35 gr/L de azúcares reductores totales “ART”, con intervalos 5 unidades de diferencia en
cada tratamiento que se preparó. El proceso de llevó a cabo a temperatura de 23ºC; a un pH
de 5.2 + 0.2, un flujo de aire de 20 mL/sg. por un espacio de 48 horas. Los resultados
encontrados muestran que la biomasa y la productividad se incrementan gradualmente,
desde 2.02 hasta 10.49 g/L y desde 0.04 hasta 0.22 g/L-h respectivamente a medida que
aumenta la concentración de concentraciones de “ART” suministrados de líquido de
gobierno “almíbar”. El valor máximo del rendimiento de C. utilis. var. major es de 56.02%
a la concentración de 15 g/L de “ART” del líquido de gobierno “almíbar”, cuyo valor está
cerca al rendimiento teórico 56.7%.
