Abstract
El proyecto de tesis actual se centra en el diseño y fabricación de una compuerta
de segmento radial que se utilizará para regular la captación de agua en el sistema
de riego de la bocatoma El Carmelo. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea, se realizó una
exhaustiva investigación sobre el diseño de compuertas y se revisaron las normas
técnicas nacionales e internacionales vigentes en este campo. La tesis se realiza
en El Carmelo, un centro poblado situado a una distancia de 16.50 Km. de La
Libertad, ubicado en Perú, se encuentra el distrito de Virú. El texto se refiere a la
ubicación geográfica de La Libertad, que se encuentra en las coordenadas de
8°28’3.84’’ latitud sur y 78°51’57.12’’ longitud Oeste, y tiene una altitud de 58 msnm
El objetivo principal es diseñar y calcular las características mecánicas de una
compuerta tipo Segmento Radial, incluyendo los brazos y las fuerzas aplicadas en
las partes fijas. Comprobamos la confiabilidad de los materiales utilizados en el
diseño al sujetarlos a fuerzas de tensión y compresión. Los resultados obtenidos
en el análisis computacional fueron favorables, lo cual respalda nuestras
conclusiones. El proyecto de investigación proporciona un conocimiento de vital
relevancia, ya que en nuestra zona de la Libertad no se emplea este tipo de
compuerta en las estructuras hidráulicas ni en los sistemas de riego agrícola.
The current thesis project focuses on the development and evaluation of a radial segment gate that will be used to regulate the collection of water in the irrigation system of the El Carmelo intake. To carry out this task, an exhaustive investigation was carried out on the design of gates and the national and international technical standards in force in this field were reviewed. The thesis is carried out in El Carmelo, a town located at a distance of 16.50 km from La Libertad, located in Peru, in the district of Virú.
