Abstract
DREX COMPANY S.A.C. es una empresa trujillana de la industria metalmecánica,
cuya actividad principal es brindar servicios de ingeniería, fabricación y montaje
electro-mecánico a carrocerías. La planificación de actividades a muy corto plazo
generaba que el personal cambie continuamente de trabajos sin concluir el trabajo
ya iniciado, contar con una cantidad de equipos insuficientes causaba que el
personal debía compartir dichos equipos generando un retraso en la producción,
así como también no se contaba con la cantidad adecuada de trabajadores en cada
área por lo que la empresa tenía que pagar muchas horas extras. Por ello, la
presente tesis, a través de la implementación de un modelo de planificación y
control de producción, busca solucionar esta problemática y disminuir los tiempos
de entrega de las carrocerías de la empresa.
Se realizó un diagnóstico situacional de la empresa para identificar los principales
problemas en los procesos productivos: inspección, pre pintado, armado, soldeo,
forrado, instalación de accesorios, pintado, instalación de sistemas eléctricos y
acabados; luego se determinó la rentabilidad operativa de la empresa en el periodo
2023 la cual servirá de base como punto de comparación para medir los resultados
del modelo a implementar. Posteriormente, se diseñó el modelo de planificación y
control de la producción mediante planes agregados por cada proceso productivo.
Se mejoró la planificación de requerimientos de materiales mediante nuevos
formatos y estandarización de procesos. Así mismo, se crearon indicadores de
control productivo para mejorar los plazos de entrega, los niveles de servicio y
atención a los clientes. Por último, se calculó los tiempos de entrega en el periodo
2024 mediante pronósticos de demanda.

Therefore, this thesis, through the implementation of a production and control planning model, seeks to solve these problems and reduce the delivery time of the company's bodywork. A situational diagnosis of the company was carried out to identify the main problems in the production processes: inspection, pre-painting, assembly, welding, lining, installation of accessories, painting, installation of electrical systems and finishes; Then the operational profitability of the company was determined in the period 2023, which will serve as a point of comparison to measure the results of the model to be implemented. Subsequently, the production planning and control model were designed through aggregate plans for each production process. The planning of material requirements was improved through new formats and standardization process. Likewise, production control indicators were created to improve delivery times, service levels and customer service. At last, the operational profitability that the company would achieve in the period 2024 was calculated through demand forecasts and with the implementation of the model to determine how much the operational profitability was increased.
