Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo, con los síntomas, diagnóstico, tratamiento, pronostico e interacción con el personal sanitario; en el periodo Noviembre -diciembre del 2023. Material y métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo transversal en el que se incluyeron a 64 familiares de pacientes hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos los cuales se dividieron en grupos: según el nivel de incertidumbre obtenido al aplicar la encuesta validada. Resultados: El nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares respecto a los síntomas de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos fue: alta (23%); regular (66%) y baja (11%), el nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares respecto al diagnóstico de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos fue: alta (20%); regular (63%) y baja (17%), el nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares respecto al tratamiento de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos fue: alta (19%); regular (66%) y baja (15%), el nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares respecto al pronóstico de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos fue: alta (25%); regular (63%) y baja (12%), el nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares respecto a relación con personal sanitario de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos fue: alta (16%); regular (59%) y baja (25%). Conclusión: El nivel de incertidumbre de los familiares de pacientes Hospitalizados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo es alto
The objective of this research work was to determine the level of uncertainty of the relatives of patients hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital, with the symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and interaction with the health personnel; in the period November-December 2023.
