Abstract
The purpose of this research work was to demonstrate the influence of the gnoseotextolinguistic model on the production of expository texts written by students of the VII cycle of the Language and Literature specialty of the National University of Santa (UNS), Nuevo Chimbote, 2022. The sample population was made up of 28 students and was determined with non-probabilistic sampling. The experimental method and a pre- experimental design were used to determine the effects of applying the model in 24 learning sessions. The most notable results show that in the pretest 21 students (75%) are at the deficient level, while in the posttest no students (0%). Likewise, in the pretest no student (0%) is at the excellent level, while in the posttest 9 students (32%). When applying the Student "t" test, -33.067 was obtained (with a significance of 0.000), which allows us to discard the null hypothesis and accept the research hypothesis. These data allow us to conclude that the model significantly influenced the production of expository texts.
