NUTRIC SCORE MODIFICADO como predictor de injuria renal en pacientes COVID-19 del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo

Abstract
Determinar que el Nutric Score modificado (mNUTRIC SCORE) es un factor predictor de injuria renal aguda en pacientes con COVID-19 admitidos a Unidad de cuidados Intensivos (UCI) en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo (HRDT) durante los años 2020 y 2021. Métodos: Estudio de investigación observacional, analítico, transversal, del tipo correlacional en pacientes con COVID 19 admitidos en la UCI del HRDT durante los años 2020 y 2021. Se incluyeron 265 pacientes donde se evaluó el valor predictivo del mNUTRIC score para el desarrollo de AKI, calculándose el área bajo la curva ROC. Resultados: El área bajo la curva (AUC) identificado para el mNUTRIC score fue de 0,767 (IC 95%; p<0,001). El punto de corte del riesgo nutricional para AKI (medido mediante mNUTRIC score) identificado para predecir desarrollo de injuria renal aguda fue 4,5, el cual se aproximó a 5, hallándose la asociación entre riesgo nutricional alto y el desarrollo de injuria renal aguda. Conclusión: El NUTRIC SCORE es un buen predictor de desarrollo de injuria renal aguda.
Determine that the modified Nutric Score (mNUTRIC SCORE) is a predictor of acute kidney injury in patients with COVID-19 admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo (HRDT) during the years 2020 and 2021. Methods: Observational, analytical, cross-sectional, correlational research study in patients with COVID 19 admitted to the HRDT ICU during the years 2020 and 2021. 265 patients were included where the predictive value of the mNUTRIC score for the development of AKI, calculating the area under the ROC curve. Results: The area under the curve (AUC) identified for the mNUTRIC score was 0.767 (95% CI; p<0.001). The nutritional risk cut-off point for AKI (measured by mNUTRIC score) identified to predict the development of acute kidney injury was 4.5, which was close to 5, finding the association between high nutritional risk and the development of acute kidney injury. Conclusion: The NUTRIC SCORE is a good predictor of the development of acute kidney injury.
