Abstract
La presente investigación cuantitativa, correlacional y de corte transversal se realizó en una
población de 65 adolescentes de una institución educativa en el distrito de San Pedro De Lloc de
la provincia de Pacasmayo. Los datos fueron recolectados mediante dos instrumentos, uno sobre
el nivel de conocimiento y otro el tipo actitud. Los resultados fueron analizados mediante el
programa estadístico IBM SPSS STATISTICS Versión 25, presentados en tablas de una y doble
entrada. Para determinar el tipo de relación entre las variables se usó la prueba Tau C de Kendall;
considerando la probabilidad de error menor o igual al 5 por ciento (p≤0.05). Los resultados
muestran que el 50.8% de ellos tienen un nivel de conocimiento medio y el 41.5% cuentan con un
nivel de conocimiento alto y actitud positiva sobre la prevención de embarazo adolescente, en
ambos grupos. Se llegó a la conclusión que existe relación entre el nivel de conocimiento y la
actitud de los adolescentes.
Description
This quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional investigation was carried out in a
population of 65 adolescents from an educational institution in the district of San Pedro De Lloc
in the province of Pacasmayo. Data were collected using two instruments, one on the level of
knowledge and the other on the type of attitudes. The results were analyzed using the IBM SPSS
STATISTICS Version 25 statistical program, presented in single and double entry tables. To
determine the type of relationship between the variables, the Kendall Tau C test was used;
considering the probability of error less than or equal to 5 percent (p≤0.05). The results show that
50.8% of them have a medium level of knowledge and 41.5% have a high level of knowledge and
a positive attitude about the prevention of adolescent pregnancy, in both groups. It was concluded
that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of adolescents.
