Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación turística se enfoca en el estudio y análisis de las condiciones turísticas favorables que presenta el distrito de Virú para la práctica del turismo de aventura. Encontrando que Virú cuenta con cuatro lugares ideales gracias a sus características naturales y geográficas que propician la práctica del turismo de aventura como sandbording, trekking, cicloturismo y campismo. _x000D_
Para la práctica del sandbording, duna Pur Pur es el lugar ideal y se evidencia en sus características geográficas como el ser terrenos con ondulaciones cubiertas de arena suave y uniforme, con una pendiente de 2.3° (3.9%), donde el deportista se puede deslizar en una tabla y con una altitud promedio de 43 msnm y una longitud de ruta de 1,39 km. ideal para realizar sandbording. Para la práctica del trekking, la caminata de Caray hacia catarata Condornada es el camino apto para realizar este tipo de turismo de aventura por ser vías de acceso afirmada y trocha con pequeños tramos de tierra con pendientes rocosas pequeñas de 7° (12.1%) con un recorrido total de 5.6 km y con una altitud promedio de 773 msnm. _x000D_
Para la práctica del cicloturismo, el trayecto desde la plaza de armas de Virú hacia el castillo de Tomabal es el idóneo por las características naturales de sus suelos como presencia de caminos con bajadas de poca inclinación de 1° (1.5%) con curvas cerradas, son caminos planos, asfaltados o trocha y tiene una longitud de ruta de 5 km y con una altitud promedio de 83 msnm. _x000D_
Para la práctica del campismo la playa puerto Morín es el lugar apropiado por sus condiciones naturales y geográficas que se caracterizan por presentar relieve plano, uniforme compuesto por arena con una pendiente de 1° (0,6%) y una altitud promedio de 4 msnm, además tiene una longitud total de 4.2 km para poder acampar. _x000D_
Así mismo, existe una demanda interesada en realizar deportes de aventura, y se evidencia a través de los gráficos de las encuestas; donde el 11% está interesado en realizar sandbording, el 27% está interesado en realizar trekking, el 21% cicloturismo y el 13% campismo. _x000D_
Por otro lado, el pueblo de Virú cuenta con una planta turística considerable para atender al cliente, tiene quince establecimientos de hospedaje que brinda al turista el servicio de pernocte y tiene más de treinta establecimientos de alimentación que ofrecen a los visitantes platos típicos como la boda o platos hechos a base del cañan; así como postres típicos hechos a base de ciruela. _x000D_
Finalmente, las vías de acceso para llegar hacia el recurso se encuentran en buen estado y es de fácil acceso para los visitantes. Para llegar a Duna Pur Pur se considera dos tramos para llegar al recurso: La carretera Trujillo –carretera Panamericana (Vía asfaltada) y de la carretera Panamericana - Duna Pur Pur (trocha). _x000D_
Para llegara catarata Condornada se considera cuatro tramos para llegar al recurso: La carretera Virú - Huacapongo tiene tres tipos de vías( asfaltada, afirmada y trocha); posteriormente la carretera de Huacapongo - Caray ( trocha); y de Caray – Punto A ( afirmado). Finalmente, desde el Punto A hasta catarata Condornada(trocha). _x000D_
Para llegar a Castillo de Tomabal se considera un tramo para llegar al recurso: La carretera Virú - castillo de Tomabal y tiene dos tipos de vía (Asfaltada y trocha). _x000D_
Para llegar a Puerto Morín se considera dos tramos para llegar al recurso: Trujillo- Panamericana Sur (Km.41) y es (asfaltada) y luego Panamericana Sur -playa Puerto Morín(3km) que está a 7 minutos del paradero de colectivos a la playa y es vía (asfaltada). _x000D_
En cuanto a las empresas de transporte que hacen el recorrido de Trujillo-Virú se tiene que son de seis categorías buses, colectivos, minivans, motos y mototaxis; éstas se encuentran ubicadas en Trujillo en el terminal Santa Cruz entre la Av. América y calle Santa Cruz,en Virú el terminal se encuentra frente a la residencial Palmeras y en Chao se encuentra en la Av. Víctor Raúl.

The present research work focuses on the study and analysis of the Favorable tourist conditions presented by the Viru district for the practice of adventure tourism. Finding that Virú has four ideal places thanks to its natural and geographical characteristics that encourage the practice of adventure tourism such as sandbording, trekking, cycling and camping. _x000D_
For the practice of sandbording, Pur Pur dunes is the ideal place and is evident in its geographical features such as the land with undulations covered with smooth and uniform sand, with a slope of 2.3 ° (3.9%), where the athlete can slide in a table and with an average altitude of 43 masl and a route length of 1.39 km. ideal for sandbording. _x000D_
For the practice of trekking, the walk from Caray to Catarata Condornada is the suitable way to carry out this type of adventure tourism as it is an access road and small trails with small rocky slopes of 7 ° (12.1%). a total route of 5.6 km and with an average altitude of 773 meters above sea level. _x000D_
For the practice of bicycle touring, the route from the main square to the castle of Tomabal is ideal for the natural characteristics of its soils as the presence of roads with low inclinations of 1 ° (1.5%) with sharp curves, are paths planes, asphalted or troche and has a route length of 5 km and with an average altitude of 83 masl. _x000D_
For the practice of camping the beach Morin Port is the appropriate place to camp because of its natural and geographical conditions that are characterized by flat, uniform relief consisting of sand with a slope of 1 ° (0.6%) and an average altitude of 4 msnm, also has a total length of 4.2 km to be able to camp. _x000D_

On the other hand, the town of Virú has a considerable tourist plant to serve the client, has seventeen lodging establishments that offers the tourist the overnight service and has more than fifty food establishments that offer visitors typical dishes such as wedding or dishes made from cane; as well as typical desserts made with plum. _x000D_
Finally, the access roads to reach the resort are in good condition and easily accessible to visitors. The Trujillo-Pur Pur road is paved. The Virú - Huacapongo highway has four types of roads: asphalted, carrozable, affirmed and trocha; later the highway of Huacapongo - Caray the road is trail; and finally Caray - Point A, which is currently affirmed. Then from Point A to the waterfall it is a trail. The road Virú - castle of Tomabal includes two types of access: Asphalted and trocha. The Virú-Puerto Morín highway has only one type of access road (paved road), it is considered two stretches to reach the Trujillo-Panamericana Sur resource (Km.41) and then Panamericana Sur-Puerto Morín beach (3km) that is 7 minutes from the bus stop to the beach. _x000D_
As for the transport companies that make the route of Trujillo Virú, there are five categories of buses, buses and minivans; these are located in Trujillo in the Santa Cruz terminal in Av. America and Santa Cruz Street and in Virú the terminal is in front of the residential Palmeras and in Chao it is located in Av. Víctor Raúl.
