Abstract
La presente investigación tuvo como propósito determinar el tipo de relación entre la felicidad y la motivación laboral de los docentes de una institución educativa pública de El Porvenir-Trujillo, 2023. El tipo de investigación fue básica con diseño descriptivo correlacional. La población muestral fue de 92 docentes del nivel inicial, primaria y secundaria. Para medir la variable Felicidad, se empleó el “Cuestionario de la Felicidad”, cuenta con 27 preguntas y, para la variable Motivación laboral, el “Cuestionario de Motivación Laboral”, conformado por 18 preguntas. Los resultados evidencian que existe una relación positiva y significativa entre la felicidad y la motivación laboral de los docentes, tal como lo expresa en el coeficiente de correlación de Rho de Spearman (0,81) con un valor de p = 0,000 < 0,05. Por lo que se concluye, que a mayor felicidad mayor motivación laboral de los docentes. Se evidenció que existe relación positiva entre sus dimensiones: felicidad y motivación intrínseca laboral, felicidad y motivación extrínseca laboral y, felicidad y motivación trascendente laboral de los docentes de la institución educativa pública.
The purpose of this research was to determine the type of relationship between happiness and work motivation of teachers at a public educational institution in El Porvenir-Trujillo, 2023. The type of research was basic with a descriptive correlational design. The sample population was 92 teachers at the initial, primary and secondary level. To measure the Happiness variable, the “Happiness Questionnaire” was used, it has 27 questions and, for the Work Motivation variable, the “Work Motivation Questionnaire”, made up of 18 questions. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between happiness and work motivation of teachers, as expressed in the Spearman Rho evaluation coefficient (0.81) with a value of p = 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, it is concluded that the greater the happiness, the greater the work motivation of teachers. It was evident that there is a positive relationship between its dimensions: happiness and intrinsic work motivation, happiness and extrinsic work motivation, and happiness and transcendent work motivation of the teachers of the public educational institution.
