dc.description.abstractIn order to revive the operation of Seed rice Processing Plant Chepén -UNT, was conducted this investigation. It was performed a bibliographic and statistical diagnosis, diagnosis of situation, and a proposal to relaunch the Seed rice Processing Plant Chepén -UNT. Secondary information was collected of MINAG and the Committee regional seed Freedom "CORESE". In addition, an evaluation of in situ Seed rice Processing Plant Chepén -UNT to meet the requirements for operation. Nowadays there exist some companies that produce certified seed of rice in the Valley Jequetepeque, but they do not cover the demand of certified seeds, also there exist farmers who select his rice without any technical criterion and commercialize it as certified seed. The unmet demand for certified rice seed for this year is 30549 bags of 40 kg / bag. For Seed rice Processing Plant Chepén -UNT considered only 20%, or 6110 bags or 244389 kg for which will require 25 hectares of land. For the relaunch of the Seed rice Processing Plant Chepén -UNT will need a total investment of S /. 195175.00 Nuevos Soles.es_ES
