NIVELES DE ALCOHOL EN SANGRE Y SU RELACIÓN CON ACCIDENTES DE TRÁNSITO, EN CONDUCTORES DETENIDOS EN LA UNIDAD DE DOSAJE ETÍLICO P.N.P– AYACUCHO, DURANTE LA EMERGENCIA SANITARIA, 2020-2021

Abstract
El consumo excesivo de alcohol, contraviene al avance en términos sociales y económicos en diferentes países, en las américas su ocurrencia es aproximadamente 40% superior al promedio mundial, los accidentes de tránsito por su causa, en el Perú, seguida del exceso de velocidad, representa el 36%. El presente trabajo de investigación, tuvo como objetivo, determinar la relación entre los niveles de alcohol en sangre y los accidentes de tránsito, en conductores detenidos en la Unidad De Dosaje Etílico P.N.P. – Ayacucho. Se realizó un estudio de tipo básico, descriptivo, la población estuvo constituida por 336 conductores que ocasionaron accidentes de tránsito, los valores de referencia considerados para la discusión, fueron tomados de la tabla de alcoholemia según la ley 27753, producto del análisis se obtuvo que, el 17% cometidos por conductores ebrios, los accidentes de tránsito fueron moderados en un 88.9%; leves, 7.4%; altos, 3.7%; los conductores de sexo masculino que incurrieron en esta falta, representaron el 98.5%. El grupo etario causante de accidentes de tránsito, fueron adultos, en 69.3%. Se concluyó que, no existe asociación significativa entre consumo de alcohol y la ocurrencia de accidentes de tránsito, el consumo de alcohol no constituyó un factor de riesgo para la ocurrencia de los accidentes de tránsito

The age group causing traffic accidents were adults, in 69.3%. It was concluded that there is no significant association between alcohol consumption and the occurrence of traffic accidents, alcohol consumption did not constitute a risk factor for the occurrence of traffic accidents
