Abstract
El propósito en el presente informe de trabajo de suficiencia profesional es describir las principales características de la oferta laboral para antropólogos, realizadas mediante convocatorias en sitios web de ámbito nacional, y relacionarla con la formación académica que se imparte en la Escuela de Antropología de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, específicamente con componentes del currículo de estudios del referido Programa de Estudios. La información sobre la oferta laboral ha sido tomada de las plataformas virtuales usadas por las instituciones respectivas para publicar convocatorias de empleos. Se hizo uso de los métodos de análisis y síntesis, deducción e inducción. Los principales resultados señalan que la oferta laboral para antropólogos y la formación académica identificada a partir del currículo de estudios tiene relación evidenciada en la comparación de los perfiles profesionales solicitados por los empleadores con la malla curricular y el perfil de egreso. Sin embargo, se identifica la necesidad de integrar en el currículo determinados contenidos que aumenten el nivel de relación positiva entre ambos. En el perfil profesional solicitado se incluye conocimientos de investigación, proyectos de desarrollo sociocultural, gestión social, elaboración de informes periódicos, entre otros.
ABSTRACT The purpose of this report is to describe the main characteristics of the job offers for anthropologists, made through job advertisements on national websites, and to relate them to the academic training given at the School of Anthropology of the National University of Trujillo, specifically with components of the curriculum of the aforementioned study programme. The information on job offers was taken from the virtual platforms used by the respective institutions to publish job advertisements. The methods of analysis and synthesis, deduction and induction were used. The main results indicate that the labour supply for anthropologists and the academic training identified from the curriculum are related, as evidenced by the comparison of the professional profiles requested by employers with the curriculum and the graduate profile. However, the need is identified to integrate in the curriculum certain contents that increase the level of positive relationship between the two. The professional profile requested includes knowledge of research, socio-cultural development projects, social management, preparation of periodical reports, among others.
