Abstract
El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la composición de zooplancton en Puerto Salaverry, La Libertad, abril – setiembre del 2014. Las muestras fueron colectadas mensualmente en tres estaciones (1, 2 y 3), con una red de 200μ por arrastres horizontales superficiales durante cinco minutos, conservadas con formol al 10%, las cuales fueron analizadas en el laboratorio de pesquería de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo, en el análisis cualitativo se utilizó un microscopio y claves taxonómicas. Se reportaron 40 organismos zooplanctónicos pertenecientes a los Phylum Arthropoda, Cnidaria, Mollusca, Chordata, Foraminífera, Equinodermata, Ciliophora, Chaetognata, Briozoa y Brachiopoda. La mayor diversidad se presentó en julio (4,702 bits/ind.), la mayor densidad mensual se dio en julio 17457 (Org./1000L) y la larva cypris de Balanus sp. presento mayor densidad (1293 Org./1000L).Los parámetros físicos – químicos, la temperatura del agua vario de 17 °C a 24°C, el oxígeno de 6,0 mg/L a 7,6 mg/L, salinidad 36 ppt y pH de 7 a 8,5.
The objective of the research was to determine the composition of zooplankton in Puerto Salaverry, La Libertad, april - september 2014. Samples were collected monthly at three stations (1, 2 and 3), with a network of 200μ for horizontal surface tows during five minutes, preserved in 10% formalin, which were analyzed in the laboratory of fishery University National of Trujillo, in the qualitative analysis a microscope and taxonomic keys were used. 40 zooplankton organisms belonging to the phylum Arthropoda, Cnidaria, Mollusca, Chordata, Foraminifera, Echinodermata Ciliophora, Chaetognata, Briozoa and Brachiopoda were reported.
