Abstract
El problema de la deserción universitaria es compleja e incluye diversas causas y
consecuencias convirtiéndose en uno de los problemas que más perjudica la Educación
Universitaria en Trujillo, esta investigación cuyo título es, Acción educativa del trabajo
social y deserción estudiantil de estudiantes de 3era y 4ta matrícula, facultad de
ingeniería – UNT, 2017 cuyo objetivo fue identificar la acción educativa del trabajo social
en la deserción estudiantil.
Es un tipo de investigación cualitativo, cuantitativo y descriptivo la cual ha permitido
conocer los factores de la deserción estudiantil de estudiantes que se encuentran en 3era y 4ta,
de la facultad de Ingeniería, se logró conocer a profundidad los problemas e inquietudes de
cada estudiante, seguido ha permitido conocer la acción educativa del Trabajo Social dentro
de las Universidades, a través de talleres, consejerías, informes sociales y seguimiento de
casos sociales, datos que fueron obtenidos de las entrevistas, encuestas, conversaciones
informales y de la revisión bibliográfica, cuyo producto ha sido conocer el trabajo e impacto
que genera un Trabajador Social en los estudiantes de 3era y 4ta, de la facultad de Ingeniería
de la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo.
Marco teórico/conceptual, se muestra la recopilación de todos los conceptos, teorías,
enfoques e investigaciones resaltantes, dando un mayor soporte a dicha investigación, en la
metodología, se explica cómo y cuáles fueron los instrumentos que se utilizaron para obtener
toda la información necesaria. Se muestran los resultados obtenidos de la investigación en
donde se detalla las características de los estudiantes, lugar de procedencia, sexo, cuantos
cursos tienen de tercera y cuarta matricula, número de estudiantes atendidos por la oficina
de trabajo social en el año 2017 con cuadros estadísticos
Las conclusiones y recomendaciones dan a conocer de manera detallada el logro de la
investigación. Esto a su vez ayuda a comprender que un trabajador social es una figura que
orienta, informa, ayuda de una forma psicosocial a estudiantes que están en situaciones de
riesgo, y de poder minimizar las dificultades que puedan afectar su rendimiento académico,
tal como se demuestras en las atenciones brindadas en el año 2017.
Description
The problem of university dropout is complex and includes various causes and consequences
becoming one of the problems that most harms the University Education in Trujillo, this
research whose title is "Educational action of social work in the student desertion of 3rd and
4th enrollment of the Faculty of Engineering - UNT "" whose objective was to identify the
educational action of social work in the student desertion.
It is a qualitative, quantitative and descriptive type of research which has allowed to know
the factors of the student desertion of students who are in 3rd and 4th, of the Faculty of
Engineering, it was possible to know in depth the problems and concerns of each student,
Afterwards it has allowed to know the Educational Action of Social Work within the
Universities, through Workshops, Counseling, Social Reports and monitoring of social
cases, data that were obtained from the interviews, surveys, informal conversations and the
bibliographic review, whose product has been to know the work and impact generated by a
Social Worker in the 3rd and 4th students, of the Engineering Faculty of the National
University of Trujillo.
Theoretical / Conceptual Framework shows the compilation of all the concepts, theories,
approaches and outstanding research, giving greater support to this research, in the
methodology, explains how and what were the instruments used to obtain all the necessary
information. The results obtained from the research are shown, detailing the characteristics
of the students, place of origin, sex, how many courses have third and fourth enrollment,
number of students served by the social work office in 2017 with statistical tables
The conclusions and recommendations reveal in detail the achievement of the research. This
in turn helps to understand that a social worker is a figure that guides, informs, helps in a
psychosocial way to students who are in situations of risk, and to be able to minimize the
difficulties that may affect their academic performance, as shown in the attentions provided
in the year 2017.
