Abstract
La presente investigación de tipo cuantitativo, correlacional de corte transversal tuvo
como objetivo establecer la relación entre el conocimiento materno sobre estimulación temprana
y el desarrollo psicomotor en los preescolares de 3 a 5 años de edad de la I.E.I. N° 183 “Angelitos
de María”, Jequetepeque 2023. La muestra fue de 55 madres con sus respectivos preescolares.
Se aplicaron los instrumentos "Test de Conocimiento Materno sobre Estimulación Temprana" y
"Test de Desarrollo Psicomotor (TEPSI)". Los hallazgos permitieron identificar que el 90.90% de
las madres poseían conocimiento alto sobre estimulación temprana, mientras que el 5.45% tenía
nivel medio y el 3.65% bajo conocimiento. En cuanto al desarrollo psicomotor, el 85.45% de los
preescolares mostraron un desarrollo normal, mientras que el 14.55% presentó riesgo de
desarrollo. Se concluyó que existe relación altamente significativa entre ambas (p=0.009; Tau-c
de Kendall=0.311)
The objective of this quantitative, correlational, cross-sectional research was to establish the relationship between maternal knowledge of early stimulation and psychomotor development in preschoolers from 3 to 5 years of age at the I.E.I. N° 183 “Angelitos de María”, Jequetepeque 2023. The sample consisted of 55 mothers with their respective preschoolers. The instruments “Test of Maternal Knowledge on Early Stimulation” and “Test of Psychomotor Development (TEPSI)” were applied.
