Abstract
The objective of this research was to determine how food security influences the exportable supply of onions from Olmos producers, 2024. For this purpose, a nonexperimental, applied, quantitative, transversal and corrective methodology was used, having a population of 100 onion producers from Olmos, in which a sample of 80 producers was selected. Obtaining as results that food security and exportable supply are at a poor level with 70% and 75% respectively. Concluding that there is a positive and direct assessment of 0.936 between the variables food security and exportable supply, therefore, onion producers who do not have correct food security will have a poor exportable supply, which would generate zero availability of onions in merchants, low management capacity and poor economic and financial capacity.
