Abstract
La presente investigación titulada “Factores asociados a Hepatitis B en donantes de
Banco de Sangre del Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión- Cerro de Pasco, junio del 2019
a junio del 2021” se orientó a la identificación de factores asociados a la infección
por Hepatitis B en los donantes del banco de sangre del Hospital Daniel Alcides
Carrión durante los meses de junio del 2019 a junio del 2021, para lo cual se llevó a
cabo un estudio de tipo descriptivo y retrospectivo. En cuanto a la muestra, fue
conformada por 723 donantes, quienes ingresaron al banco de sangre del Hospital
Daniel Alcides Carrión – Cerro de Pasco en el tiempo que comprendió el estudio. Se
concluyó en la investigación lo siguiente: En los donantes del banco de sangre del
Hospital Daniel Alcides Carrión – Cerro de Pasco la prevalencia de Hepatitis B
durante los meses de junio del 2019 a junio del 2021 fue del 3%. Los factores
asociados a Hepatitis B en donantes del banco de sangre que tuvieron significancia
estadística, según el estudio realizado fueron: sexo, presencia de accidente
punzocortante, tatuajes, antecedentes de infecciones de transmisión sexual y número
de parejas sexuales. (p < 0.05).
The present investigation entitled "Factors associated with Hepatitis B in donors of the Blood Bank of the Daniel Alcides Carrión-Cerro de Pasco Hospital, June 2019 to June 2021" was oriented to the identification of factors associated with Hepatitis B infection in the donors from the blood bank of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital during the months of June 2019 to June 2021, for which a descriptive and retrospective study was carried out. As for the sample, it was made up of 723 donors, who entered the blood bank of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital - Cerro de Pasco during the time the study included. The following was concluded in the investigation: In the donors of the blood bank of the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital - Cerro de Pasco, the prevalence of Hepatitis B during the months of June 2019 to June 2021 was 3%. The factors associated with Hepatitis B in blood bank donors that had statistical significance, according to the study carried out, were: sex, presence of a sharp injury, tattoos, history of sexually transmitted infections and number of sexual partners. (p < 0.05).
