Abstract
The key resolution of this seek exertion remains toward carry out a geomechanical evaluation to determine the support and control dilution in the Long Wall Method at Minera Santa Bárbara de Trujillo, where there are problems during exploitation. The geomechanical evaluation based on Bienawski's RMR89 and different control techniques was applied to reduce the percentage of dilution by 8.74% and reduce operating costs from 19.45 $/TM to 17.57 $/TM, which represents a saving of 1.88 $/TM. The practice castoff hip the examination remained of applied type then the sample remained confirmed by the TJ-DS7 and TJ-DS9 pits of the 3900 Level of the Veta Delicias, as main instruments that were used was the geomechanical characterization format RMR89 of Bienawski and data registration sheets. The consequences gotten were the organization and zoning of the pillar form in the pits, where three rock qualities were identified from Fair to Poor with RMR of 54, 49 and 40 with their equivalences in GSI of MF/R, F/P and MF/MP respectively. The state was too single-minded that the kind of support in the pits is basically props and Woodpack spaced systematically according to the geomechanical recommendation and my conditions. In addition, mineral dilution could be identified in the evaluated pits. Prior to project implementation, an average dilution of 37.21% remained experiential through the primary semi of the year.
