Abstract
The main objective of this research report was to determine the influence of the "Expresándome" program on oral expression in the second grade students of primary education of the education institution No. 81011 "Antonio Raimondi" of Trujillo in the year 2022.The type of research, which is applied depending on the level, focuses on the study from a quantitative perspective where the design is quasi-experimental; there was a sample of 57 second grade students from sections "C" and "D" of primary education.A 22-item checklist was used as a data collection instrument whose function is to evaluate the participation of the students in the application of the techniques according to the three established dimensions that were evaluated by the researchers.Fourteen learning sessions were applied to the experimental group, adapted to the face-to-face modality. According to the results obtained, the experimental group (almost the vast majority of students) had a high level of oral expression, which determined that the Mann-Whitney U non-parametric test has a value of p = 0.000 < 0.05 rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the research hypothesis, thus managing to demonstrate that the “Expresándome” program significantly improved the three dimensions: verbal, non-verbal and paraverbal in the students of the second grade of primary education. Therefore, it is concluded that the application of oral expression techniques improved the development of the verbal, non-verbal and paraverbal dimension, taking into account indicators such as clarity, fluency, intonation, proximity, gestures, postures and proximity.
