Abstract
RESUMEN
La presente investigación estudia la cerámica colonial de la ciudad de Trujillo - Perú, específicamente el material encontrado en dos sitios: La iglesia colonial del pueblo de Huanchaco y los restos cerámicos encontrados en las excavaciones correspondientes al antiguo solar que ocupara el Teatro municipal de la ciudad.
Para una mayor comprensión del tema se ha tenido a bien utilizar la arqueometría como técnica de análisis, específicamente, la microscopía electrónica. Así mismo la investigación documental y etnográfica.

ABSTRACT
The present investigation studies the colonial pottery of the city of Trujillo - Peru, specifically the material found in two sites: The colonial church of the town of Huanchaco and the ceramic remains found in the excavations corresponding to the old site that occupied the Municipal Theater of the city .
For a better understanding of the subject, it has been good to use archaeometry as an analysis technique, specifically, electronic microscopy. Likewise documentary and ethnographic research.
